DJ Pixie, legenda české drum&bassové scény, roztáčí vinyly poprvé na začátku milénia. V roce 2001 jako resident pražského soundsystému T2B a zakládající člen skupiny Let It Roll pohotově přidává k oblíbenému technu zlomené beaty a o rok později začíná prozíravě budovat jejich rozsáhlou sbírku. Z počátku neznámé uskupení se brzy stává zásadním hybatelem stoupajícího hudebního hnutí, jehož atraktivita i díky přispění dalšího matadora, jímž je DJ Suki, raketově roste.
Oba pionýři nekompromisně určují coby vůdčí osobnosti směr i tempo také v rodící se sféře promotingu a návštěvnická obliba jejich fenomenálních audiovizuálních show přesahuje hranice české metropole. Pixie jako hbitý surfař naskakuje na rostoucí vlnu, pečlivě brousí svůj styl a získává pevnou pozici jako dj typický svými přesnými, rychlými a nápaditými hudebními mixy, které sklízí zasloužený respekt nejen u fanoušků, ale i u ostatních mistrů řemesla.
Z Pixieho vystoupení srší nekonečná energie: sety se vyznačují spádem, soudržností a jsou přehlídkou všeho, co žánr právě nabízí. Vášeň pro věc nevyhnutelně ústí v zasloužená ocenění, Pixie se opakovaně stává králem českého djingu a vítězí v nejvyšších příčkách Czech Drum and Bass Awards (v letech 2007 až 2018 sestupuje z prvního místa jen třikrát na bronzovou pozici).
Nápaditost, široký přehled, kompoziční myšlení a cit pro práci s publikem představují nejvýraznější charakteristiky tohoto performera. Přirozeně se jen těžko nechává svázat hranicemi jednoho subžánru a jeho doménou se tak v posledních letech znovu stává i techno a minimal techno. DJ Pixie, a legend of the Czech drum&bass scene starts as a dj at the beginning of the new millennium. In 2001 he begins with techno and broken beats as a resident dj of T2B sound system in Prague and also he becomes one of the founding members of Let It Roll crew. An unknown crew, which becomes more and more influential over the coming years, it was mostly Pixie and his partner, DJ Suki who became the best known names of the crew and their fame skyrockets.
Both of these pioneers sets the trend not only in drum&bass music, but also in party promoting in general, there are more and more fans in all corners of the Czech Republic, who wants to witness their phenomenal audiovisual shows. Pixie makes drum&bass part of a local popular culture, and becomes fairly realized for his style of fast and very precise mixing and original musical ideas, he earns respect both from his fans and also other djs.
Pixie’s live performances are full of unlimited energy, his sets have a story and gradation and you can hear various subgenres all mixed together. His passion for music and djing earns him his first awards and since then, he is constantly recognized as the best dj in Czech Drum and Bass Awards (within the years 2007-2018, he has won the first place nine times, and finishes third three times).
He is always full of new ideas, has a deep knowledge of all the types of electronic music, he can compose a set with a story and development and can fascinate live audiences with his performance – these are the best characteristics of this unique dj. Not limited to drum&bass only, recently he plays techno and minimal techno sets yet again, coming back to his original roots and showcasing many faces dj Pixie has.
